Orlando, FL - Embark Safety in Orlando was selected to provide Pinellas Suncoast Transit Authority (PSTA)- the public transit provider in Pinellas County, FL - with continuous driver license monitoring services for more than 400 drivers. PSTA serves 4,929 bus stops on 40 routes in Pinellas County, including two express routes that travel to Tampa.
Under the contract, Embark Safety's Driver Safety Management (DSM) platform will monitor the driving records of PSTA employees continuously and alert managers when changes occur.
The cloud-based system streamlines the ongoing management of motor vehicle records (MVR) and DOT files, while providing real-time access to new violations, convictions, suspensions and DUIs/DWIs.
"We are proud that our technology will provide risk-mitigating insights that should not only improve road safety but also help PSTA's bottom line," said Edwin Sosa, General Manager of Embark Safety.
This new service will eliminate the need for PSTA to manage motor vehicle records on a yearly basis.
